Cycling on the Ybbstal cycle path

Defy the hot temperatures with a dip in the cold water in the Waidhofner outdoor pool or at one of the many bathing areas on the Ybbs! First through the gently rolling land of the Mostbirn trees, then through the alpine region of the Eisenstrasse: on its 107 km, the Ybbstal cycle path not only connects the Danube with the Lunzer See, but also the mild and wild sides of the Mostviertel.


The castle on Eisenstrasse is the perfect starting point for tours to Lunz am See or to Ybbs. There is also a train connection available along the Ybbstalsradweg back to Waidhofen an der Ybbs.
