Modern 4-star world in the castle
The facade of the castle is in an early baroque style – and on the inside it has a straightforward design and is exquisitely furnished. In the glass foyer at the back of the castle you will find our atmospheric castle restaurant, the Schlossrestaurant.
This building, finished in 2002, complements the historic structure with more double rooms and a fitness & wellness area.
The Schlosscenter, redesigned in 2015, offers modern festive halls and technically well-equipped conference rooms which meet the highest demands.
Castle character in the Hotel at the Ybbs River
The striking trademark of the castle is the 5-story early baroque tower with the onion-shaped spire. The castle character is also reflected in the interior architecture. On the 1st floor of the historic castle, the original vaulted ceiling with molding has been exposed and the wood-beamed ceiling in the tower suite from 1610 has been lovingly restored. In the basement with its vaulted ceiling, our perry and wine cellar awaits you with a rustic wooden table for up to 16 people.
We also have allowed subtle details to flow into the modern ambience as a reminder of earlier eras in Waidhofen – like the iron caps on the dark wooden doors and the iron decorations at the reception desk.
